About Us

We are a group of dancers and musicians from around Essex and the SouthEast.

We rehearse weekly (Monday nights) for most of the year, and take part in Folk events within the area when the mood takes us. When dancing doesn't appeal, we also engage in various social outings, Christmas parties and the like.

Our main activity is of course Appalachian step dancing, choreographed by our group members, and performed to live folk music.

We welcome new members! People joining should bear in mind that there will necessarily be a steep learning curve if you are new to this form of dancing. Give us a call or send an e-mail and we will be happy to give you more details.

Scrambled Leggs are available for bookings throughout the year. We will perform at non-profit charities for the cost of the petrol (not cheap, these days) - because we like to and because it keeps us on our toes. Other organisations can expect to pay our usual (very reasonable) rates.
